This particular prompt is near and dear to my heart, especially as of late. Music therapy has been around since the 1800s, but it wasn’t until the 1980s that it became a medically recognized therapy.
Music is a whole body experience as it affects us cognitively, physically, emotionally, and socially. Music therapy is so widely accepted as it is non-invasive, doesn’t require anyone to swallow a little pill and can meet several needs at once.
What type of music is your therapy? What are your go-to songs when you need to be uplifted?
